Welcome to Hunter and Gun Safety – We offer the courses you need for a Canadian Firearms License (Possession and Acquisition License or PAL) and Ontario Hunting Licenses. Our instructors have been teaching the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course and the Ontario Hunter Education Program Training courses for over 20 years.

Why do we do this? We are passionate about Hunting and Firearms safety and want to help more people gain the certifications required so they can join the firearms and hunting community.
Our students come from all walks of life and all levels of prior experience. The courses assume you have never handled a firearm before. Perhaps you are interested in the hunting or shooting sports, or collecting firearms, or maybe you might be set to inherit some family firearm heirlooms or maybe you need a firearms license for a new career – we welcome you and are here to help.
Suggested steps:
- Determine which courses you want or need.
- Complete the Registration process to send us your contact information and course request
- Send payment of a deposit – e-transfer works best
- Review Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document and course pre-reading materials
- Attend course(s) and pass test(s) – pay remainder of course fees
- Receive proof of passing courses
- Apply for license(s)
